Do I need to download anything from the App Store?
No. dBrief is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Open it in your browser and tap "Add to Home Screen" — it installs like a native app on iPhone, Android, or any tablet. No App Store, no Google Play.
Does it work on site without phone signal?
Yes. The job editor works offline once the app is loaded — drafts cache to the device and sync automatically when you're back on signal. The catalogue picker and customer-share send do need a connection.
Can I put my company name and logo on reports?
Yes. Add your company name, phone, email, website, accreditations (CAI, CEDIA, NICEIC etc) and choose an accent colour. Every report, quote and invoice customers receive will look like it came from you.
What disciplines does it cover?
Aerial, satellite, CCTV (including IP CCTV), WiFi / network, audio / AV, and HD distribution. The cable loss calculator covers both coaxial and CAT cable including PoE voltage drop. If you have a trade account with Eurosat Scotland, dBrief pulls live products from the catalogue at your trade-tier prices. SKUs and PDF datasheets carry through onto the customer report. Reorder a job's equipment to your Eurosat basket with one tap when you need to restock the van.
How does team pricing work?
Sole Trader is one user. The Company plan is £34.99/month with two engineers included, then £9.99 per extra engineer per month — add or remove engineers anytime as your team changes. Engineers are invited from the admin dashboard, and you only pay for the seats you're using.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. No contracts, no minimum term, no exit fees. Cancel via the Customer Portal in Settings — you keep access until the end of the billing period. Your job history stays accessible and can be exported.
